Hi everyone, I am raising money for the Lupus Research Foundation (LRF). The LRF is putting on a curling camp this weekend at the Broomstones Curling Club. Kevin Martin, Olympic gold medalist from 2010 (Canada), will be teaching us delivery techniques and strategy. 100% of the proceeds from the event goes to the Lupus Research Foundation. LRF's mission is to help find a cure for lupus by raising awareness and funds for research. They fund Dr. Timothy Niewold, Vice Chair for Research at the Hospital for Special Surgery. Hi! I am happy to be raising money for this great cause. I'm taking part in a fundraiser and curling camp for the Lupus Research Foundation. Not only do we get to learn from the greatest curler of all time, Kevin Martin, Olympic gold medalist, but we are supporting research into lupus. Their researcher is working on diagnostics, as well as treatments. If someone you know has joint pain or fatigue, the most common symptoms of lupus, let them know it's OK to ask their doctor, "Could this be lupus?" It's more prevalent than most people realize and can be life-threatening. Please help this organization cure lupus! Thanks for your support

I am doing a curling camp by Kevin Martin November 4 and 5 in support of the Lupus Research Foundation, a charity focused on raising awareness about lupus and research funding. Their primarily-funded researcher is developing a diagnostic tool that can fairly accurately let a person know they might have lupus. This gives them a chance to take preventative therapy. He is also working on a new medication and took part in developing the previously added medication to the market. The LRF is doing good work and if you will support it I thank you very much!
