Lupus Research Foundation

The LRF is a progressive, energetic organization focused on finding a cure for lupus. We are patient-run, and, through the Lupus Spiel, as well as curling camps around the country and the FORE Lupus golf tournamnet, enjoy a world-wide reputation for raising awareness and having fun while doing it. Join us in the fight against lupus, and help find a cure.

Our Flagship Event is the Lupus Spiel

The Lupus Spiel is a Professional-Amateur curling tournament designed to raise awareness and funds for lupus research by combining amateur curlers with Olympians and world-class curling champions. It is held across the country, with its largest and original location in Blaine, Minnesota. The Lupus Spiel is the largest tournament of its kind in the world. Curlers have raised over a million dollars for the cause. Click here for more information about the Lupus Spiel!

The LRF has the right to refuse entry to any person(s) for any event for any reason based on their sole discretion.

The Lupus Spiel was a blast – a weekend filled with crazy, fun curling to raise money for a great cause.  I highly recommend it!

Awesome experience.  A well organized and fun event.  The Lupus Spiel is a MUST on any curler’s bonspiel to-do list.

I have been going to the Lupus Spiel for several years now and it’s always a great time for all the curlers!  I have made so many friends over the years – not only my teammates, but the other participants as well.  And of course I love seeing how much money we can raise for a great cause!
